Anita Ishaq-Juarez, PA-C
Anita Ishaq-Juarez is a Board Certified Physician Assistant accredited by the NCCPA. She completed her undergraduate studies at University of Texas in San Antonio and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology. After her matriculation she became an educator and taught Biology, Chemistry and Physics at the High School level for 6 years. She then went on to receive her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from Wingate University in North Carolina. After completion of her Master’s Program she completed a Clinical Dermatology Internship in Hawaii where she gained experience in the various aspects of medical dermatology and continued to practice there for 3 years. She treated and managed various dermatological diseases such as skin cancers, chronic skin disease, acute skin problems and benign growths. She also became an active member of the Hawaii Dermatology Society and contributed to monthly case studies. She is also trained in various cosmetic procedures such as injecting neuro-modulators, fillers and using various modalities such as use of topical medication, cosmeceuticals, micro needling and lasers for skin rejuvenation and treatment of various skin conditions.
As a former educator, she brings her prior experiences into her practice of dermatology by engaging her patients to become active participants in their own care. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, cooking, spending time with family and taking golf lessons to improve her game.
