Laraib Safeer, MD

Dr. Safeer spent her early years in Brooklyn, NY, where her father completed residency training. After moving to South Texas as a young child, she decided to follow in his footsteps and become a physician.

She attended University of Texas Pan American for her undergraduate education and received a Bachelor of Science with highest honors. She completed her medical degree at Baylor College of Medicine, where she decided to stay to complete a year in internal medicine. She went on to complete a three-year dermatology residency in St. Luke’s University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

Dr. Safeer is interested in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology, and enjoys treating adults and pediatric patients. She is board certified in dermatology and is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.

In her free time, Dr. Safeer enjoys watercolor painting and spending time with her family and her cat, Boo. She is excited to be back in Houston.
